How Is This Camp Different? |

Ultimate Kids Camp is a different kind of summer camp experience. This unique empowerment program is offered to children between the ages of 6 to 14.
This camp empowers children to increase their self confidence, feel their inner power using strategic games, unique activities, play and lots of fun. Children learn and practice focus, accountability and the importance of participating at 100%. The objective of the camp is for children to learn to be reliable and to experience their personal best in a safe and guided environment. » more
Travel Through Time!Games: Kids experience the fun of our ancestors through amazing "warrior" and "goddess" games. Kids will practice "laser-focus" attention during target practice activities, to accomplish aiming at foam and wood targets (with bow and arrow, archery, throwing, etc) – all in a safe and guided environment... Professional demonstration by black belt martial arts instructors to demonstrate what our ancestors enjoyed: Live Steel Swords and Spears, Axe throwing, Wrestling... Story Time: listen to ancestors words of wisdom passed on through generations... learn about respect: self respect; respect your peers and those in your community Crafts: Boys will decorate play shields made of cardboard - will paint, draw and make it as fun as possible. Girls will make fun bracelets with beads. Excursions: Brave the Cave - explore a natural cave... |

Dear Ultimate Power Team! Let's celebrate our children’s breakthroughs, and acknowledge every small success!!! They chose to push themselves to achieve new targets, to sleep through the night away from home (with friends and not necessarily their parents in the tent next to them), make new friends and buddies, participate 100%, stand up for themselves, defend themselves, play fair, aim at targets and play full-on, listen to their body and ask for what they need, eat their meals, clean up after themselves and brush their teeth every day, without being asked twice! And they even survived for 4 days without TV!!! Many stepped up to be leaders in their own right – some after their buddy, be accountable, provide guidance and support, and even translate for their fellow French warriors! It was beautiful to see that we were one community! "The Bear Tribe"!!! ♥ Miha Ting What we really enjoyed seeing and feeling was that our son was valued for being himself as the unique individual he is. He was not seen or described by his weaknesses or “needs” but by his participation and what he put forth. He made a friend that he was happy to introduce us to. He felt good about himself which hasn’t happened much in his school career. We found it difficult to stop raving about the camp and what a positive experience it was for our son! He wants to go back!!! |
