History Of The Program

Ultimate Kids Camp is a different kind of summer camp experience. This unique program is offered to children between the ages of 6 to 14. Organized by Empower Kids Canada, the camp empowers children to increase their self confidence, feel their inner power using strategic games, play and lots of fun. Children learn and practice focus, accountability and the importance of participating at 100%. The objective of the camp is for children to learn to be reliable and to experience their personal best in a safe and guided environment.

This empowerment camp has been successfully ran part of Fire Mountain Program for 5 years by Aaron Huey and his team in Denver, Colorado, known as Warrior kids camp. Their programs are high-impact, challenging, fun events that create profound enduring transformation.

Each camp or program mirrors real life as participants learn to break through obstacles, banish fear and emerge with the tools to lead more courageous, passionate and fulfilling lives.

Aaron Huey's mission is to inspire kids, teens, adults and their families to live life with passion, presence and power by building confidence and leadership.

Aaron Huey is a master instructor and has led part of the Warrior program for Peak Potential Training, one of the largest self-development empowerment training program in Canada and US.

The kids camp was created by a team of child development specialists, teachers, and parents who know what children need to experience their true power. It is very unique in nature, as it creates an environment of community building, where children experience personal growth thru structured play, having lots of fun and making friends and awesome memories. »watch overview

Finally this camp is available for sthe first time in Canada, in the Ottawa-area, July 22nd to 25th, 2010. Enrollment is limited, so please sign up early to ensure your child can experience this unique empowerment camp!

Aaron Huey

» PROGRAM DEVELOPER & MASTER FACILITATOR

Aaron is considered one of the world‘s leading experts in the empowerment of children and families. He has been working with children and parents for over 15 years. He has been an elementary, middle school, high school and college teacher, a kids life coach, mentor, professional story teller, director, trainer, camp counselor, p-arenting coach, a father as well as a step-dad. He teaches seminars to children and adults all over the United States and Canada and speaks at parenting centers about authentic play, the dance of masculine and feminine energy in relationship. Aaron believes that people have more power than they acknowledge. He is committed to awaken confidence and leadership.

Aaron's Success Story

Aaron understands the struggles kids and families go through because he has been there.

I was diagnosed with ADHD/ADD when I was 12, and was also told that I had learning disabilities. I was bullied unmercifully, struggled to try and get any kind of grades at all, and I basically had zero self-esteem. I started to get into trouble at school, because I just couldn't fit into the mold that they were trying to put me in. I developed substance abuse problems, and really hit rock bottom.

How did he turn it around?

I finally found out the style of learning that WORKED FOR ME! And then, I discovered how to work with others in a way that tapped into the style of learning that WORKS FOR THEM!

Aaron lives his life mission through his programs that are designed to awaken confidence and leadership.

It‘s not about being better, it‘s about giving up the struggle to be different from who you are.

Jeff Hamilton

» CO-FACILITATOR

With degrees in Psychology and Anthropology, Jeff is a Reiki Master and hypnotherapist. He has taught Martial Arts for 20 years and is in his 15th year teaching at a Boulder, Colorado alternative high school where he is a favorite mentor and guide for young adults. An avid reader of philosophy, mythology and history, Jeff infuses his teaching with lessons from our greatest story tellers and heroes.

I work with energy: energy inside oneself, energy between individuals, and energy in relationship to nature.

Tyler Conderino » ASSISTANT TRAINER \| CAMP COUSELOR With a degree in Outdoor Education and Wilderness Leadership, Tyler is the lodge master, director of logistics, and a favorite counselor among the kids. He has put his heart and soul into Fire Mountain's mission and their participants. His nickname is Ninja because he magically appears whenever he is needed, and he is also known as Shaman because he intuitively knows what the spirit of each individual needs and what the camps require at any given moment. At only 20 years, Tyler is a support facilitator for the world famous Predicament, assistant trainer for Fire Mountain Martial Arts, and an inspiring role model for children.	"Ninja"
Patty Ramey » SACRED CEREMONIES FACILITATOR Patty leads some of our most fun, transformational and sacred events. As the owner of Sacred Ceremonies, she creates and delivers life-changing ceremonies for people in times of transition and celebration. Her grounded wisdom is an inspiration to everyone. Her 6-year-old son Kylon has taken the kids camp twice, returning this summer for more - he is fetured in an online video.
Miha Ting » EMPOWER KIDS CANADA \| PROGRAM DIRECTOR Miha is a successful entrepreneur, a supportive mom, and a devoted lifetime student to interpersonal development. Has a bachelor degree in computer science and math, has achieved significant financial milestones, one being financially free at 35, and has build a successful real estate company. In 2009, appeared as a guest on Money Expert Panel, hosted by Leela Francis of Vivid Women. Miha has attended transformational programs with Peak Potential Training, studied inspirational works of Dr. Wayne Dyer and alike, and has applied concepts learned from Blair Singer and Robert Kiyosaki to her business, and continues to grow with leaders in empowerment.
